FAQ
01.
Do ebike batteries drain when not in use?

Even more important, storing a fully depleted battery may be disastrous because, as we mentioned above, a lithium-ion battery will slowly discharge over time even when you're not using it. If the voltage drops below a certain point this may cause irreparable cell damage, depending on the time it's left sitting.
02.
How much power do I really need?
The power of your e-bike or scooter depends on your weight and if you intend to ride up a lot of steep hills. If you’re commuting through the Okanagan and are fairly small, 250 watts will probably do you. If you’re a bigger person, or think you’ll be going out riding in hilly terrain, 500 watts is probably more your speed. However, the downside of higher power could be less range or a heavier, more costly battery.
03.
Does Range Matter?
It's important consider your weight and intended use when choosing between the two. Electric bikes have a longer range than electric scooters, with some high-end models capable of traveling up to 100 km on a single charge.
